Mooney-Gorman

Aileen Ann Mooney and Jacob Vincent Gorman were united in marriage July 30 in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa, by the Rev. Charles Adam.

Parents of the couple are Alan and Susan Mooney of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and John and Susan Gorman of Princeton.

Alison Mooney was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Betsey Mooney, Meredith Carr and Megan Crowley.

Matthew Sanchez served as best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Mercer, Alex Cahill and Caleb Caldwell. Ushers were Tony Belha, Nathan Cox, Alex Higginbotham and Steve Theulen.

A reception in the couple’s honor was held at Harrah’s Hotel and Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

After a one-week wedding trip to Secrets Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple is making their home in Coralville, Iowa.

The bride is a graduate of St. Albert High School, St. Ambrose University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a master’s degree in occupational therapy. She is employed by Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, as an occupational therapist.

The groom is a graduate of Princeton High School and St. Ambrose University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He attends the University of Iowa, Iowa City, seeking a doctorate in immunology.
