BUDA — Mary F. Moore, 79, of Buda died at 6:20 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.

Born Oct. 24, 1932, in Osceola to James and Bernice (Clark) Forbes, she married James A. Moore May 27, 1950, in Buda. He survives.

She was a graduate of Buda High School. She had worked at Kraft Foods in Manlius, and also painted and wallpapered, and was a seamstress.

She attended the Bunker Hill Church of God in Buda.

Also surviving are two daughters, Patty (Daniel) Sheldon of Lost Nation, Iowa, and Tina (Steve) Barnett of San Antonio, Texas; three sons, Terry (Rosemarie) Moore of Granville, Larry (Elizabeth) Moore of Princeton and Jerry (Elizabeth) Moore of Washington, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ila Holly of Sterling; and one brother, William (Ellen) Forbes of Rock Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bud and James Forbes.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with Gaile Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Hopeland Cemetery, Buda.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Buda Rescue Squad.
