PRINCETON — A magic game and informational meeting will be held at the Princeton Public Library at 3:30 p.m. Friday.

On Monday, the BMP Co-op will meet at 2 p.m.; the Monday Night Movie, which will be shown at 6:30 p.m., is a 2007 film about the life of Jane Austen; and Princeton Youth Football will meet at 6:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, a preschool story hour will be held at 10:30 a.m. The theme is Valentine’s dogs, and there will be music with Miss Cheryl. All area preschoolers and parents or guardians are welcome to attend. Also, Gateway HRC will meet at 1 p.m.; WNUT will meet at 6:30 p.m.; and Talk About will be at 6:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, the Junior High Book Club will meet at 3:30 p.m., and Chicks with Sticks will meet at 6:30 p.m.

On Feb. 9, the BMP Special Education Co-op will meet at 1 p.m., and the Friends of the Library Book Club will meet at 4 p.m. to discuss “Shanghai Girls” by Lisa See.

Applications are due Feb. 29 for the library’s Art by Numbers, which will be on display April 9 through May 4. Entry forms are available at the main desk.

OHIO — The Ohio Public Library District has a number of new books, including James Patterson’s “Kill Me if You Can,” Janet Evanovich’s “Explosive Eighteen,” Lee Child’s “The Affair,” John Sandford’s “Shock Wave,” Walter Isaacson’s “Steve Jobs,” and Larry McMurtry’s “Berrybender Narratives.”

For the month of February, the library is going to be featuring “presidential” themed books in honor of Lincoln and Washington’s birthdays.  

In addition, the library is holding a fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 4 at Rip’s in Ladd. Tickets are available at the library or from any board member for $6. A raffle and 50/50 drawing will be held at this time as well.
