Ohio High School 1-23
OHIO — The Ohio High School Board took action on the following items at its meeting Jan. 23:
• Heard the district had received 78 percent of its revenues for the year and made 39 percent of its expenditures. Superintendent Sharon Sweger said the overall total of all fund balances is higher than one year ago.
• Heard the state owes the district $14,462.62. Sweger said the amount owed to the grade school district is about $32,000.
• Heard that enrollment is still at 38 students.
• Heard Sweger ask the board members to complete her evaluation and return the forms to board President Harold Albrecht.
• Heard the white bus has arrived.
• Heard the Open Meetings training must be done by Feb. 6.
• Heard the Honor Roll Breakfast was held Jan. 6 and awards for attendance and academics were presented. Principal Mark Downey said he was glad to see a good turnout of parents and family.
• Heard the homecoming game will be in Ohio Feb. 7. The dance will be Feb. 11.
• Ryan Lawrence received the Ohio DAR Award .
The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 in the school library.
