Tyrone J. Sanders, 27, of Spring Valley was charged with the unlawful possession of cannabis, less than 2.5 grams, following a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 29 and Coal Miners Road at 7:49 p.m. Jan. 28.

Battery

Amanda D. Precher, 19, of Spring Valley was charged with criminal trespass to a residence and battery following a disturbance in the 100 block of East Erie Street at 1:55 a.m. Jan 25.

Driving under the influence

Rafael Blanco Jr., 27, of Princeton was arrested for driving under the influence and not wearing a seatbelt in the 400 block of West St. Paul Street at 8:29 a.m. Jan. 29.

Accidents

Darlene Stuckert, 81, of Spring Valley and Eliezar Esquivel, 61, of Spring Valley were in an accident at the alley in the 100 block of East Fourth Street at 11:19 a.m. Jan. 28.

Janet M. Zielinski, 66, of Lostant and Jason A. Turczyn, 31, of Spring Valley were in an accident in the 1300 block of North Greenwood Street at 11:52 a.m. Jan. 28.

Phillip R. Schulte, 76, of Mendota and Brett A. Davis, 23, of Baldwin City, Kan., were in an accident in the McDonald's drive through in the 800 block of West Dakota Street at 8:25 a.m. Jan. 28.

Deer accident

Skee L. Hartmann, 33, of Princeton struck a deer at the intersection of Richard Mautino Drive and West Third Street at 8:40 p.m. Jan. 29.
