TISKILWA — Crossroads High School will host an open house for prospective students and their parents from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Feb. 20, President’s Day, at the school. School will be in session that day, so visitors can see the teachers and students in action.

Parents of current students will be available to give their perspective on what CHS has meant to their family. Parents and students are welcome to stay a few minutes or all day, view the facilities and ask questions. Crossroads High School offers a classical education from a Biblical world view.

Classes in session this day include Bible, American government, English, Latin, chemistry, algebra I, geometry, physical science, pre-calculus, calculus, physics, drama, Spanish, logic and P.E. CHS students and faculty invite parents to come explore if this might be the right place for their student in the next school year. The school is located at 100 W. Main St. in Tiskilwa.

Registration for the 2012-13 school year opens for new students, Feb. 20, also. CHS will accept a maximum enrollment of 20 students next year. Parents who would like to visit the school and are unable to visit on Feb. 20, may call Andrea Horst, CHS principal, at 815-875-9165 to make arrangements for another time.
