Lenten activities

PRINCETON — The First United Methodist Church of Princeton will begin its annual Wednesday evening Lenten activities Feb. 29. The series of gatherings will run through April 4. The “Thank God It’s Wednesday” evening begins with food and fellowship at 4:45 p.m. A light dinner will be provided, free of charge. At 6 p.m. there will be a short worship service, followed by one-hour classes for all ages.    

The class offerings include a video series, a men’s study entitled “Courageous,” and a study that leads participants through each day of the last week of Christ’s life. There will be additional activities for children.
