Veterans workshop

PRINCETON — American Legion Woman’s Auxiliary Unit 125 of Princeton will conduct the February veterans workshop at 9 a.m. Wednesday. All members are encouraged to attend to assist with the workshop and are to remember if they are to donate baked goods, fruit, etc. for the treat sacks. Home Rule meeting

PRINCETON — The Princeton Residents for Self Reliance will hold a Home Rule town hall conversation at 7 p.m. today, Tuesday, at the Bureau County Metro Center in Princeton.

Red Hats meeting

PRINCETON — The Princeton Red Hats will celebrate Red Hats Valentine at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Princeton Elks Lodge. Members should bring a candy Valentine for everyone.

PRINCETON — The Northwest Princeton unit of HCE will meet at 7:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, at the home of Clara Pease, 321 Briar Lane. Pat Wood is assistant hostess. The lesson will be “The cost of managing money,” given by Barb Ollilla. The auction gift will be furnished by Gloria Hansen.

Pancake breakfast

WALNUT — A an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage and biscuits and gravy breakfast, hosted by the Walnut Fire Department, will be from 7 a.m. to noon Sunday at the fire station. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12.
