Fresh from the farm

Volunteers gather at the Hollowayville United Church of Christ Thursday and Friday to make fresh pork sausage for the 60th annual Pancake and Sausage Brunch. The brunch will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, and will feature the sausage, pancakes, pie, French toast, applesauce, fruit and beverage for $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. The first sausage was made on local farms by church members who raised pigs. Today, some of the great-grandchildren of those people are helping make the sausage.
