Gateway lands four gold medals in Winter Games

GALENA — Four Gateway Gator athletes brought home gold medals from the 2012 Special Olympic Games in the Galena area this week.
In cross country skiing Missy Anderson won a gold medal in the 100-meters and took fourth in the 500-meters, Brandon Endsley won a gold medal in the 100-meters and a silver medal in the 50-meters and Theresa McLachlan took a silver in the 100-meters and bronze in the 500-meters.
Nathan Warren won gold in the 200-meters and silver in the 100-meter snowshoe races.
Seth Schultz was successful in his first run at speed skating in the Winter Games competition in Dubuque, Iowa, landing gold in the 777-meters, silver in the 333-meters and fourth in the 222-meters
