MANLIUS — The Manlius Historical Society met Feb. 2 at the Manlius Village Hall.

The meeting was called to order by President Robert Andersen, who led the group of seven in the Pledge of Allegiance. He then asked Kenneth Rodgers, secretary/treasurer, for minutes of the Nov. 3 meeting. Rodgers then gave the treasurer’s report.

Under old business, Tom Cushman will start work on bathroom facilities. Andersen reported he would file for tax abatement after drawdown and bank is open several hours, on a weekly basis.

Under new business, the group discussed the drawdown on March 31. Eating will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the drawing of prizes will start at 7 p.m. Up to $2,500 matching funds will be provided by Modern Woodmen. Drawdown tickets were distributed among the members present.

The group’s next meeting will be at 6 p.m. March 1 in the Manlius Village Hall.
