Fundraiser

PERU — St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Peru has organized a fundraising play called “Bible Bingo-An Act of Charity in Two Acts.”

The play, beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, is a spoof on fundraising and bingo. It pokes a lot of fun at Catholic life, but it’s done tactfully and with all respect. 

Proceeds will be used to repair the clock and bell tower. Tickets are all general admission at $25 each. Tickets are on sale at the St. Joseph’s Parish Office, 1925 Fifth St., Peru, Ankiewicz’s Deli, 1920 Fourth St., Peru or by calling parish trustee, Fred Steele at 815-223-1874.
