Area athletes from Gateway and Princeton High School competed inthe 2012 Special Olympics Winter Games held recently in Galena. BCR staff member Phyllis Fargher captured these photos.

Competing from Gateway were Seth Schultz, Brandon Endsley, Theresa McLachlan, Nathan Warren and Missy Anderson. Coaches are Paige Barringer and Aaron Fargher.

Competing from Princeton High School were Steven Behrends and Alexandra Dabler.
