Food service refresher course

PRINCETON — A refresher course for food service sanitation managers will be from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 11 in the conference room of the Bureau County Health Department in Princeton.

This one-day education course will meet the requirements for renewing a current Food Service Sanitation Manager Certificate. A minimum of five hours is required by the Illinois Department of Public Health for renewal of a certificate prior to expiration of your current certificate.

The fee of $55 is non-refundable and payment is necessary at the time of registration to guarantee a seat in the class Those interested may register at the health department from 8 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Forms may be downloaded at the health department’s website at www.bpchd.org. Class size is limited to 35.

To attend and receive credit for the class, participants must bring a photo ID and their current Food Service Sanitation Managers Certificate. If a certificate has expired, you will not be allowed to take this course.

Lunch will be on your own.
