Grand jury returns indictments

PRINCETON — A Bureau County grand jury returned the following indictments when it met Feb. 10, at the Bureau County Courthouse in Princeton:

Danielle M. Saraceno, 23, of Arcata, Calif., was indicted for the Class 4 felony of unlawful possession of cannabis. She is accused of possessing more than 30 grams of cannabis on Jan. 23. Princeton Police Officer Chris Gabrys testified before the grand jury. Saraceno is free from custody, having posted 10 percent of a $10,000 bond.

There were three suppressed cases.

The cases were presented to the grand jury by Bureau County State’s Attorney Patrick Herrmann, First Assistant State’s Attorney Tony Sciuto, and Assistant State’s Attorney Daniel Anderson.

The indictments were returned before Circuit Judge Marc Bernabei and Associate Judge C.J. Hollerich.
