PERU — The Illinois Valley Volleyball Officials Association will host its annual IHSA Level 1 and Level 2 Volleyball Officials Clinic from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Peru's Parkside School, 1800 Church St. This is a certified IHSA clinic which will meet the necessary clinic requirements for current and new officials. Anyone interested in becoming an registered IHSA official is encouraged to attend.

PHS softball clinic
PRINCETON — The Princeton High School softball team will host a softball camp for girls in Grades 4-8 on March 10 at PHS. The clinic will run from noon to 3 p.m. The PHS coaching staff and players will provide clinic instruction.

LASALLE — The Better Fishing Association of Northern Illinois will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the VFW Post 4668 Hall, located at 24th and Donohue streets in LaSalle. There will be no board meeting before the meeting this month.
On the agenda is the approval of proposed slate of board members and advisors. Other topics include a report on the L-P bass fishing team fundraiser; kid’s fishing tag day; and the MWC Walleye Tournament nMarch 24-25.
As usual the admissions is free, and door prizes will be awarded at the end of the meeting. The meeting is open to the public.
