OGLESBY — Illinois Valley Midday Connection will meet at 11:30 a.m. March 20 at Deer Park Country Club, 100 Deer Park Lane, Oglesby.
The March luncheon theme is “Life is Like a Box of Chocolates.” The luncheon and program cost is $15, paid at the door.
Christie Farrell, owner of Christies’s Caramels, will share her knowledge of candy making as the day’s special feature.
Special music will be by Ottawa High School senior Luke Parker.
Guest speaker Bea Ingersoll will speak on “Finding Joy on Life’s Journey.”
