I.V.A.D.A. holds meeting

LASALLE — Illinois Valley Activity Directors Association, with Susan Scully as hostess, held a meeting March 12 at the Illinois Veteran's Home in LaSalle. Minutes were read, a treasurer's report was given, and bi-law changes were handed out to members. Several guests were introduced.
Education chairperson Barb Hoffman of Morris Healthcare & Rehab. discussed upcoming educational meetings and speakers. Publicity chairperson Kathy Conner of Heritage Health in Streator gave a report. Chris Thompson of Greenfield in Princeton asked members to provide humorous, heart-warming stories she could use in her thesis.
State Senator Susan Rezin addressed the members about budget, Medicaid, spending and reforms as it applies to long-term care facilities.
