Charity basketball game

PERU — There were two happy results from the third annual IVCH-Rotary charity basketball game played March 16 at Parkside School in Peru.

First, none of the players (most well beyond the prime of their athletic lives) were hurt and, secondly, the IVCH Foundation and Illinois Valley Food Pantry each received checks for $1,076.  The game pitted a squad of IVCH physicians and other members of the hospital staff against a team drawn from the membership rosters of the Peru, LaSalle and Illinois Valley Sunrise Rotary clubs.
