BRADFORD —Ten Bradford Jr. High School band and chorus students participated in solo and ensemble contest March 23 at Wyoming Grade School. The students earned seven first ratings and one second rating. Samantha Weir earned a perfect score with a saxophone solo.

The students earning a I rating were: Samantha Weir, saxophone solo; Mark Painter, trumpet solo; Emma Slichenmyer, flute solo; Dalton Hancher, snare drum solo; Kendra Selby and Samantha Weir, saxophone duet; April Atkins and Samantha Weir, clarinet/saxophone duet; and Todd Reay, Dalton Hancher, Savannah Wall, and Jenna Ehnle, vocal double duet.

Receiving a II rating were Laura Rouse and Dalton Hancher for their snare drum duet.
