PRINCETON — Princeton Police Chief Tom Root has issued his activity report for March. Officers responded to 884 calls and handled 36 ambulance assists, nine fire assists, 15 police assists, answered 14 alarms, four funeral escorts, 12 thefts, six criminal damage calls and 63 motorist assists. Officers made 39 traffic arrests and 14 non-traffic arrests, and issued 81 warnings and 13 parking tickets. Arrests included one for burglary, three for theft, three for drugs, five for drug paraphernalia, two for driving under the influence, two for no valid driver’s license, and 13 for driving with a suspended/revoked license.
Police handled 17 accidents, including one with injuries, one with property damage and two with under $500 reports.
