Walnut Village Board

WALNUT — The Walnut Village Board took action on the following items at its meeting March 19.

• Approved payment of bills in the amount of $3,657.74.

• Approved sponsoring part-time police training for Josh Pistole. Pistole had approached Chief Tom Ptasnik in regards to being hired on as a part-time police officer and attending police training school. The Law & Order Committee recommended the motion because it would be beneficial to Ptasnik and the town to have another officer who is a resident in the town to respond to calls.
