Taking my chances on HGTV

I faced a couple big disappointments during the past few weeks.

First of all, I was not the winner of the HGTV million dollar house contest, which culminated on March 17 with a random drawing on national television. If I had won, I would have been the proud owner of $1.3 million home in Park City, Utah, plus $500,000 in cash, and a new GMC Terrain vehicle. On top of my HGTV disappointment, I was also not the winner of the $665 million Mega Millions lottery drawing either.

In all honesty, I can’t complain about the MegaMillions lottery, since I didn’t buy a ticket. That only seems fair that I didn’t win.
