Cinco de Mayo festival set for May 4

DEPUE — The Cinco de Mayo festival will begin at 5 p.m. May 4 at the DePue School. Cinco de Mayo is an annual celebration in DePue that involves a few hundred students, parents and the community.
The festival includes musical entertainment by students, young children performing a folk dance, a contest for homemade salsa, craft stations, inside and outside games for elementary children and refreshments.
