PRINCETON — American Legion Woman’s Auxiliary Unit 125 of Princeton continues to collect aluminum pull tabs and Box Tops for Education coupons and grocery/sundry coupons for overseas commissaries. Grocery/sundry coupons can be up to 6 months outdated. Donations may be dropped off at the Legion post home vestibule at 1549 W. Peru St. in Princeton.
KEWANEE — The Henry County Genealogical Society will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the second floor meeting room at Kewanee Public Library. An elevator is available at the First Street entrance. The program will be an encore appearance of the mother-daughter duo, Delores Seckman and Tonya Pike. Continuing the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, they will regale participants with songs of the Civil War era. Dressed in beautiful gowns of the period, their music will take you back to this time of conflict. The public is invited to attend.
