Silent auction, concert planned in LaMoille

LAMOILLE — Friends of LaMoille Music and Band Boosters will host a silent auction during the school’s spring concert on April 29.

The public is invited to attend an afternoon of music, starting at 2 p.m., at LaMoille High School. The program will feature music from students in grades 4-12. The silent auction will be held an hour before and immediately after the concert.

All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the student’s spring 2013 Walt Disney trip. Some of the items to be auctioned include a Rivermen hockey team-signed stick, Chicago White Sox tickets, Thirty-one bags, Grizzly Jack’s Grand Bear Lodge overnight stay, O’Connell’s Yogi Bear Jellystone Park weekend camping, Angry Birds stuffed animal baskets, tickets to Quad City River Bandits, Normal Corn Belters baseball team, Peoria Chiefs baseball tickets, a Galena, Illinois basket, jewelry and floral arrangements, Miche bag and various gift cards and certificates from local businesses.
