SPRING VALLEY — The Spring Valley Historic Association will hold its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the museum building at 201 West St. Paul St.

The guest speaker will be Helga Brinker who recently became a resident of Spring Valley. Brinker was born in Germany in the late 1930s. She will discuss what life was like for her as a small child living with her mother and sister during World War II.

The association meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Single memberships are $15 per year, and families are $20. New members and guests are welcome. For more information contact Kathy Cullinan at 815-664-4288.
