Princeton cleanup is May 7-14

PRINCETON — The annual city cleanup for Princeton will begin May 7 for all residences east of Main Street and May 14 for all residences west of Main Street. All items must be out no later than 6 a.m. on May 7 and 14, respectively.

None of the following items will be taken: Demolition materials, white goods (stoves, dishwashers, etc.), tires, special or hazardous waste, rock, bricks or concrete; oil or oil tanks, and paint cans with paint in them. All pipes and rods must be cut to a 4-foot lengths. Swing sets must be taken apart and cut.

The garbage truck will take what it can. The rest will be picked up with a loader and dump truck. Junk should be left out where garbage is normally collected.
