Kewanee Hospital Auxiliary awards memorial scholarships
KEWANEE — The Kewanee Hospital Auxiliary has announced the recipients of the 2012-13 Elizabeth Baethke Memorial Scholarship. This year’s winners are Michelle Newman of Galva and Taylor Garcia of Kewanee.
Newman will attend Indiana State University this fall to pursue a degree in registered nursing. She then plans to further her education to become a family nurse practitioner.
Garcia will be attending Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville in the fall, with plans to become a pharmacist.
