DeVenney rocks in Sheffield 5K
Hometown runner Nathan DeVenney, 18, was the first-place finisher of Sheffield’s Music on Main 5K Run on July 21.
The former Bureau Valley High School standout clocked a winning time of 19 minutes, 22 seconds. Second place went to Logan Hoffert, 17, of Bradford in 19:43 with Andrew Smith, 16, of Walnut taking third in 20:52.
The first female finisher was Brenda Roggy, 52, of Wyanet, who finished with a time of 22:05.
