Health care legislative forum to be held

PRINCETON — The public is invited to attend “Health Care Challenges for Rural Communities,” a legislative forum hosted by the Illinois Rural Health Association, Perry Memorial Hospital and the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network.

The forum, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton, is designed for local health care providers and community leaders to learn more about the current state of affairs in Springfield and Washington, D.C. and for lawmakers to gain a better understanding of local needs. Special guests include Rep. Adam Kinzinger, state Sens. Darin LaHood and Sue Rezin and state Rep. Don Moffitt.

Contact Margaret Vaughn, IRHA executive director at 217-280-0206 or email mvaughn@springnet1.com to R.S.V.P. and also to request specific issues or questions you would like legislators to address at the forum.
