HCC Ladies Circle

PRINCETON — The Ladies Circle of Hampshire Colony Church will conduct its September dinner meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at Wise Guys Restaurant in Princeton. Support group

SPRING VALLEY — LaLeche League of the Illinois Valley, a breastfeeding support group, will meet at 10 a.m. Sept. 20 in Spring Valley. This monthly group helps mothers gain knowledge and support from other breastfeeding moms. September’s discussion will revolve around, but is not limited to, “The Advantages of Breastfeeding.” Expecting moms are encouraged to attend, as well as new and experienced moms. Johnnie Kaye performance in Utica

UTICA — The Johnnie Kaye Orchestra will perform from 8 to 11 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Celebrations 150 Hall in Utica. Tickets are $12.50 in advance, $15 at the door. Breakfast planned

LAMOILLE — The LaMoille Lions Club will serve an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lions Club, 308 Howard St., LaMoille. The menu will include pancakes, sausage, eggs, ham, toast, milk, juice and coffee. Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for age 5-10. Proceeds will go to the LHS girls’ basketball program.

Auxiliary workshop

PRINCETON — American Legion Woman’s Auxiliary Unit 125, Princeton, will conduct its monthly veterans workshop at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. Members are reminded to bring a treat item if it is their turn. For more information, call Clara Pease, VA&R chairperson.

Cookout planned

WYANET — The United Pentecostal Youth Group will host a cookout from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Wyanet Locker in Wyanet. The menu will be rib eyes, butterfly chops, brats, pork burgers, hot dogs and chips.
