SPRING VALLEY — LaLeche League of the Illinois Valley, a breastfeeding support group, will meet at 10 a.m. Sept. 20 in Spring Valley. This monthly group helps mothers gain knowledge and support from other breastfeeding moms. September’s discussion will revolve around, but is not limited to, “The Advantages of Breastfeeding.” Expecting moms are encouraged to attend, as well as new and experienced moms. LAMOILLE — The LaMoille Lions Club will serve an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lions Club, 308 Howard St., LaMoille. The menu will include pancakes, sausage, eggs, ham, toast, milk, juice and coffee. Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for age 5-10. Proceeds will go to the LHS girls’ basketball program.
