NEPONSET — On Sunday, millions of Americans are expected to take a bold step to return to church based on an invitation from a friend, family member, co-worker or neighbor.
National Back to Church Sunday, the largest collaborative outreach in the nation, provides the potential for people not only to find a church and deepen their relationship with God, but also to form lasting personal relationships.
The First Congregational Church, 107 W. Main St. in Neponset, will participate in the event. The service will begin at 9 a.m. and a time of food and conversation will follow the service.
“Our congregation has been preparing for this event for weeks, and we look forward to welcoming many new people this Sunday,” said William R. Toliver, pastor and spokesperson.
