WYANET — Girl Scout Troop 4011 will host a pancake and sausage breakfast from 7 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Wyanet VFW. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Preschoolers are free. Proceeds will help fund the December Panama City Beach, Fla. trip.
DIXON — The Alzheimer’s Association and United Way of Lee County will host an introductory course, “Facing New Challenges,” covering information such as normal aging vs. Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, diagnosis process, communication tips, safety concerns-driving and wandering and community resources, from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Rock River Branch, 93 S.
