In this day and age it seems that we are all quick to speak negatively of businesses, institutions, organizations and individuals that do not or cannot meet all of our expectations or cater to our every whim. We tend to overlook or fail to acknowledge those who give fully of themselves to serve our community.

I personally would like to commend Jim Pinter, his wife Julie and their boys for dedicating themselves to providing an awesome opportunity for hundreds of our children to play soccer every spring and every fall. I cannot begin to imagine the logistics of bringing it all together, let alone the time and effort expended during the actual playing season.

Hats off and a great big thank you to Jim, Julie and their boys for all the personal sacrifices made to ensure that your children, your grandchildren and the kids in your neighborhood have an opportunity to learn self discipline, fair play, team spirit and all the other benefits of organized sports while having fun and getting in shape.
