Kelsey Clausen of Greenville and Paul Cayo of Smithboro were united in marriage Aug. 5 at the Bond Christian Service Camp in Mulberry Grove.
The bride is the daughter of Peter and Karleen Clausen of Malden. The groom is the son of Lora Kennedy of Smithboro and Ken Cayo of Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Theresa Lindel, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Fields, sister of the bride, Kristin Bohms, sister of the bride, and Kylei Hoster, niece of the bride. Brooke Clausen and Ava Clausen, nieces of the bride, were flower girls.
Ryan Kleinik, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jim Quick, friend of the groom, and Scott Kinkade, friend of the groom. Ushers were Christopher and Jacob Fields, nephews of the bride, and Zachary and Reece Bohms, nephews of the bride. Grady Quick, friend of the groom, was the ring bearer.
A reception to honor the couple was held at the Bond Christian Service Camp in Mulberry Grove.
The couple enjoyed a wedding trip to Dahinda, Ill., where they stayed in a lakeside cabin. They are making their home in Greenville.
The bride graduated from Princeton Christian Academy in 2006 and Greenville College in 2010. She is a reading aide at Greenville Elementary School in Greenville.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Mulberry Grove High School, Mulberry Grove, and a 2011 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He is an industrial engineer and accountant for Carlisle Syntec Inc. of Greenville.
