Bureau Valley students draw self-portraits

Bureau Valley North students in Susan Berry’s third-grade art class have learned that portraits don’t have to be drawn as if looking at themselves straight-on. In their most recent assignment, the third-grade students drew their self-portrait as if they were standing below a glass floor looking up at themselves. Tyra Sayler is shown holding her self-portrait drawn from this point of view.
