Have you been enjoying our monthly featured, titled “Walking the Walk,” which features local clergy who answer a variety of questions and how those questions pertain to their faith? If you are a lay leader or clergy and would like to participate during the next quarter of 2012, give me a call at 815-875-4461, ext. 229.

Campaign signs are starting to pop up around the county. While each candidate has the right to want you to see his/her name a bazillion times before the election, I believe it’s our responsibility to get to know what each candidate stands for; how they feel on particular issues; and what we can expect from him/her if we elect them to office. I’ve already started to do my own homework. Now is the time.
