ORION — The Henry Stark Counties Retired Teachers met Sept. 12 at the Orion Methodist Church.

Executive director Jim Bachman of Springfield spoke to 43 participants on the current implications of legislation to insurance and pension. After questions on a political level, Carrie Boelens of the Henry Stark Counties Health Department then took members to a psychological level on hoarding with entertaining and educational insights. Concluding the formal business meeting was the popular drawing for a variety of baked goods and consumable treats donated by officers.
