Kaufmann named Rotarian of the Year
PRINCETON — The Princeton Rotary Club recently announced Phil Kaufmann as the 2012 Rotarian of the Year. He was presented a plaque in recognition of this honor by current Rotary President, Lou Ann Kenwick, and past Rotary President, Jeff Dean.
Kaufmann sets the example for other Rotarians by demonstrating the objective of Rotary with his high ethical standards in business and profession, the recognition of the importance of service to the community and the international understanding of building goodwill and peace in his own community, as well as in the world. In 1995 he was involved with the Young Professionals Rotary Exchange group in the Netherlands.
Kaufmann was employed for 20 years at the Covenant Children’s Home and finished his time there holding the position of chief financial officer. He has spent the last 11 years as the administrator at Greenfield and was instrumental in the addition of the apartment complex and its innovative design and layout.
