PRINCETON — American Legion Woman’s Auxiliary Unit 125 of Princeton held its August workshop for 41 veterans on Aug. 8 at the Legion home.

The sacks were filled with fresh fruit, snack chips, snack crackers, cookies, special diet foods, pudding, applesauce and homemade oatmeal bars. Mariele Fisher was in charge of the workshop.

The group continues to do this traditional workshop for local veterans residing in three nursing homes and one retirement home in the area as their way of letting them know they are not forgotten.
