WALNUT — The Walnut Chamber of Commerce will host a Bingo Night from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Walnut Community Center. The cost is $3 for two cards, $5 for four cards. Prizes will be sponsored by the Chamber. Snacks, sugar free included, will be provided.

PRINCETON — The Covered Bridge Quilters Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Oct. 5 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 416 E. Dover Road, Princeton. The program, “Pieces of a Quilter’s Life,” will be presented by Beth Ferrier. Guests are welcome to attend for a $5 fee. A workshop, “Hand Applique by Machine,” will be presented by Ferrier from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 6 at the church.
MENDOTA — The Mendota Museum and Historical Society’s annual Heritage Dinner will be Oct. 20 at the Mendota Civic Center. Cocktails will be at 5 p.m. and dinner will be at 6 p.m. Immediately after the dinner will be a presentation on the history of printing in Mendota.
