Manlius Historical

MANLIUS — The Manlius Historical Society met Sept. 6 at the First State Bank building with president Robert Andersen presided over the group of seven.

Kenneth Rodgers presented the minutes of the July 25, which were approved. He also gave the treasurer’s report, which was also approved.

Under old business, Andersen reported he was going to delay plaques for the front of building and concentrate on outside of building repairs. Also to file appeal with DOR on upstairs taxes.

Under new business, Ed Behrens had installed new storm door on back entrance. Andersen will talk more to Kurt Peterson about repairs and painting to the outside of building. Patti Glafka made a motion to remove the fire escape, which was second by Lois Swanson. The group also discussed a time for mailing out requests for donations.
