Proceeds donated

PRINCETON — The First Presbyterian Church members held their annual ice cream social on Aug. 11.

Proceeds from this annual event went to the Bureau County Health and Wellness Clinic to support the day-to-day operations of the clinic. This year the donation was $16,608.44.

Jean Babcock, executive director of the clinic, said “this event has become the single, biggest local fundraiser for the clinic. The First Presbyterian Church members, auction committee members and Pastor Brian Hall believe in the mission of the clinic which provides primary medical care to Bureau County residents who are low income, uninsured and have no other access to primary medical care.”
