Auxiliary Unit 125 holds monthly workshop

PRINCETON — American Legion Woman’s Auxiliary Unit 125 of Princeton held a veterans workshop on Sept. 12 at the post home.

Five ladies were present to fill 35 treat sacks with goodies for the local veterans the Unit serves each month. Included in the treat sack were apples, muffins, snack crackers, chips, puddings, brownies, special diet foods, personal care items and a paperback book.

“We do this workshop every month as our way of saying ‘thank you’ to those men and women veterans residing in local nursing homes, who have served our country over the years,” said Clara Pease, VA&R chairperson.
