LASALLE — Chronicling her spiritual journey is just a book away for Judy Sment of LaSalle.

Sment has published two books about her life and how faith in God has changed her. Two more books are on the way in her spiritual journey series.

In looking at her journey into becoming an author, Sment said God gave her a calling to write her first book in 1998, even giving her the title of “My Walk With God.” Though she received her calling to write in 1998, Sment said life got in the way, and she didn’t start writing her first book until 2000. The 448-page book was published in 2005.
