Republican Women to host ‘Meet the Candidates’

PRINCETON — The Bureau County Republican Women will host a “Meet the Candidate” Night at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the meeting room of the Princeton Public Library, 698 E. Peru St., Princeton.
Invited are Desirée Sierens, candidate for Bureau County state’s attorney; Mary Romanelli Dremann, candidate for Bureau County circuit clerk; Randy Grant, candidate for Bureau County coroner; and Bureau County Board candidates.
Each candidate will be given a 10-minute time slot to address the audience; a question and answer session will follow.
Organizers say this event will give attendees an opportunity to be a more informed voter in the Nov. 6 election. Reservations are not required, and light refreshments will be served.
