LADD — The Bureau County Sheriff’s Department is continuing its investigating into the theft of a tractor-trailer from the Ladd Elevator.

On Friday morning, Sheriff John Thompson said he had spoken earlier that morning with Investigator Gary Becket, and there has been no recovery of the vehicle at this point.

The Bureau County Sheriff's Department was notified of the theft at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday. Both the Kenworth tractor and trailer are white, and the name Ladd Elevator is printed on the side of the tractor, Thompson said.
