Applause, applause!

Wow, what can I say? How about a job well done! I’d like to offer my compliments and applaud all the efforts and creativity put forth by the small business owners, artists and other participants who worked tirelessly to create the first ever “French Soiree” event at the North End Art District. It’s encouraging to see enterprising, small business owners working together to create such a charming and delightful festival for everyone to enjoy.

We should all be inspired and proud of these hardworking people. And also to their credit, we all benefit from a vibrant and creative Main Street. So congrats not only on this latest event, which we hope will be held yearly, but also on the consistently fine work from these business owners over the years which has featured wine walks, seasonal and holiday events, and other artist-related events.

We all should appreciate the continuing efforts by these businesses as they are not only entertaining and delightful, but also add greatly to the attraction and charm of our entire community.
